Elephants

the ringling brothers is
ending their elephant acts
eighteen months ahead schedule.

we need to acknowledge it:
the elephant in our living room
doesn't go with the furniture.

maybe it's time to let him go.

    maybe it is. I live not far from Sea World, where they cage dolphins and orcas for the amusement of people.

    I don't favor zoos anymore. ~
